Hybrid Marine International (HMI) has launched its innovative Multimode Hybrid Gearbox, a standalone package designed to fit a comprehensive range of marine engines utilising standard SAE flange mountings.

Built on over 24 years of Marine Hybrid expertise, this product enables OEM boat builders and marine engine manufacturers to supply integrated hybrid propulsion systems.
The base system has been specifically designed to seamlessly connect to marine bobtail engines ranging from 20hp to 110hp, providing 15kW peak electric drive and 10kW continuous generation. HMI can also confirm that larger systems supporting up to 250hp are currently under development and are due to be released in 2027.
