Key Account Manager – Garden Tools & Products

We are currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager within our successful Garden Tools and Products division.

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and growing relationships with the divisions most valuable clients.

Key Accountabilities:

• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Driving sales and volume growth of all brands
• Developing strategic account plans
• Tracking key account metrics, monitoring performance indicators to assess account health and identify growth opportunities
• Negotiating buying terms and promotional activity of key and regional garden centres (within agreed parameters)
• Prospecting and appointment of new accounts
• Support (when required) of instore merchandising, ensuring good brand image and product availability
• Support regular stock forecasting meetings to ensure a balanced stock situation
• Support of trade and consumer shows, continuing good PR and high profile of our brands

Professional Experience:

• At least 3 years Garden products sales experience  

Key Skills Sought:

• Self-motivated with the ability to plan and use time effectively with minimal daily supervision
• Strong team player, flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude
• Customer orientated with proven in-field experience
• Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills, written and telephone
• Knowledge of garden products

A full driving licence is essential as a Company vehicle will be provided.
