People Development Executive


We are currently seeking a passionate People Development Executive to support the growth and development of our employees.

As a People Development Executive, you will be crucial in helping individuals enhance their skills and knowledge, guiding our employees through their learning journey. By providing training and development opportunities and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, you will contribute to our Company's success and ensure our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.    

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive employee development strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Partner with HR and Departmental Managers to identify skills gaps and training needs across the business and design targeted development programs.
  • Partner with HR and Line Managers to support performance manager processes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on effective performance management techniques.
  • Develop utilisation of Company performance review platform.
  • Coordinate the delivery of training programmes and learning initiatives, both internally and through external partners.
  • Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops and other training. 
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements to ensure maximum impact on employee development.
  • Create and promote career pathways within the business, supporting managers to facilitate career development discussions and mentorship programs.
  • Design, develop and oversee apprenticeship programs across the business. 
  • Provide mentorship and support to apprentices, monitoring progress and performance throughout training.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions, industry organisations, and government agencies to promote apprenticeship programs and other talent development opportunities.

Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Training and Development or a related field OR CIPD Level 5 or 7 in Learning and Development.
  • Proven experience in L&D and employee training.
  • Proven experience in managing apprenticeship or training programmes.
  • Experience in implementing employee development initiatives.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training programmes.

Knowledge and Skills Sought:

  • Strong understanding of talent development principles, performance management practices and employee engagement strategies.
  • Current knowledge of effective L&D methods.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate organisational goals into actionable talent development plans.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices.
