PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN - DYNAMOMETER

Barrus has created one of the world’s largest and most modern custom-engine building facilities, allowing the Company to build products in single units to large volume production runs.  Comprehensive test facilities enable delivery of fully tested, run-in and first serviced engines. 

We are currently recruiting a Production Technician to work within our dedicated Dynamometer facility.

Main responsibilities include dynamometer testing of all rebuilt & new engines, fault finding, recording and producing test data, maintaining dynamometer test equipment and producing engines and product when required.

The successful candidate will have obtained a recognised apprenticeship or other relevant qualification in an internal combustion engine maintenance, engineering or marine engineering based subject.  You will have in-depth practical working knowledge of 4 stroke engines (petrol & diesel) and have at least 5 years practical experience in a busy workshop/production environment.  Strong team working and good communication skills are essential.
