Installation
Installing a standby generator is a custom solution and should be carried out by fully approved and certified installers. From the layout of the property, location of the service panel, to the lights and appliances requiring backup power, no two homes or businesses need the same backup power solution.
Home Consultation
Briggs & Stratton Standby Generators are available through Barrus appointed authorised dealers who will advise on model selection depending on the power requirement. The installation will be handled either by the dealer, if they have their own experienced engineers or by Total Electrical & Mechanical Solutions who have a team of fully certified installers around the country. A full site survey will be undertaken prior to installation and commissioning, and the units will require an annual service.
Standby Generator Maintenance Support
The process of owning a standby generator does not end with installation. Routine maintenance is required to make sure that the generator will perform as expected when you need it most and to get the most value out of your new standby generator. Your local dealer or installer will be able to provide any maintenance needs your system may encounter, including an annual service, while under warranty and throughout the lifespan of the unit.
Warranty
The comprehensive Briggs & Stratton warranty of 3-years/1000 hrs, (commencing from the date of final commissioning) backs-up the commitment to deliver quality, reliable power.
