Yanmar engines - a popular power choice for the rental market

The Barrus Industrial Engines Division will be showcasing Yanmar Stage V engines from the diesel air-cooled L-Series and the TNV-Series water-cooled ranges at the Executive Hire Show.

Two new engines have been added to the existing TNV family of common rail engine models which are EPA Tier 4/EU Stage 3B and EU Stage V compliant.

The two new engines are the three-cylinder 3TNV86CHT (33.3 kW at 2600 rpm) and the four-cylinder 4TNV86CHT (48.5 kW at 2600 rpm). All feature Bosch and Denso common rail direct fuel injection systems, and full authority electronics. They have already proved popular with original equipment manufacturers due to their fuel efficiency, higher power density, compactness, and a DPF which needs practically no maintenance.

Yanmar engines are a popular choice for the rental market due to their durability and reliability in operation, fuel efficiency and ease of maintenance. A number of applications can be seen on manufacturers stands around the show powering generators, cement mixers, dumpers, pressure washers, lighting towers and much more.

Altrad Belle’s new, award-winning DX1000HT 1-Tonne, Hi-Tip Dumper is fitted with the Yanmar 3-cylinder, 1100cc, 3TNV76 diesel engine. The DX1000HT sets new standards for safety, strength, operator comfort, and convenience and productivity on-site.

The Yanmar L100 is powering the SE6000D4 Silenced Diesel Generator, the SSD6000 Super Silent Diesel Generator, the SSD6000S Ultra Silent Diesel Generator and the Yanmar L70 is fitted on the SLT5000 Mini LED Lighting Tower.
