Yanmar Engines on display at Saltex

The new, Final Tier 4 compliant, Yanmar L100 engines made their debut at the show. The L100 from Yanmar’s popular L-Series engine range, along with the L70 will meet the Final Tier 4 emission regulations. These engines are feature packed offering customers the best value in the industry. They offer the ideal power solution for heavy-duty ground care and forestry applications.  Key features of the L70 and L100 include:

• Increased power

• Minimal or no physical size increase

• Drop-in replacement for most Interim Tier 4 L-Series models

• Variable & fixed speed models will be available

• DOC fitted integral with the exhaust system

The Final Tier 4 compliant L-Series is scheduled to be available in the first quarter of 2015. Testing and validation is currently taking place in limited quantities.

Yanmar engines were also featured in a number of applications at the show including the all new Truxta, 4x4 hydrostatic mini dumper, making its debut at the show on the Tufftruck Stand A70. The Truxta has been designed and built to rental industry standards by Tufftruk Ltd, a UK company based in the Peak District National Park. Powered by a reliable Yanmar L48N diesel engine, this compact machine will pass through a 2’6” doorway and with the 40 degree articulated steering can manoeuvre in the tightest of places. The Yanmar engine was chosen for its strong track record in the rental industry, compact design, ease of servicing plus the added benefit of a three year warranty.
