Yanmar for reliable, portable power on site

Yanmar air and water-cooled engines continue to be a popular choice for generators from 3kVA to 40 kVA. These engines comply with noise and safety requirements and all current European emissions regulations. 

Barrus supply the Yanmar L100 Series engine to OEM’s such as Stephill Generators for their silent and super silent diesel generator range. The electric start L100, air-cooled engine with direct injection is the ideal fit for the compact and lightweight design of Stephill’s 6kVA machine. “Stephill Generators Ltd has incorporated Yanmar L range engines into our portable diesel generators for more than 15 years. Harrington’s also use the Yanmar L100 for many of their commercial and key military customers where the demands for high quality, performance and reliability in operation are expected. These engines are custom-built in accordance with typical military specifications providing features such as low temperature starting, with the capability of operating in extreme climatic conditions and running on multi-fuel options. Many other leading gen set manufacturers throughout Europe have chosen the Yanmar engine as its power source and will be displayed at the Executive Hire Show next February.

This engine was shown on the Barrus stand for the first time in the UK at Hillhead in June. All Yanmar engines purchased from Barrus now come with a three-year warranty registered for use in the UK and Eire.
