Traditional mechanical carbon brush motors generate friction and heat build-up, resulting in lost energy and reduced runtime. We use brushless motors that run more efficiently and cooler and have a longer runtime between charges. Coupled with the high-capacity 54V XR FLEXVOLT battery our outdoor tools have the power and runtime to rival traditional petrol-powered alternatives.
