Shire extends engine range.

The Shire 15RB and the Shire 20 are the newest additions to be added to the Barrus Shire range. The Shire 15RB is a 2-cylinder, raw water-cooled engine that is ideal for both new boat builds and for re-powering small river craft and canal boats. This engine will also be available for both raw water-cooling and keel cooling.

Producing 20bhp@3000rpm, the Shire 20, 3-cylinder, raw water-cooled or keel cooling diesel engine offers an excellent value for money package for smaller canal boats up to 45ft. Remarkably smooth and quiet, the Shire 20 is compliant with the RCD (Recreational Craft Directive) and all current and projected exhaust emission regulations. Offering the option of an engine with both raw water-cooling and keel cooling is proving to be very popular on the Inland Waterways.

The Shire 15RB and Shire 20 joins eight other models in the range, the Shire 30D, 35, 38, 40, 45, 50, 70 and 90 models offering a comprehensive choice of engines to suit all requirements and budgets.
