Barrus extends Garden Division team with appointment of Area Sales Manager

Edward will be responsible for the complete Barrus line-up of garden machinery and tools brands including Cub Cadet, Lawnflite, MTD and Agri-Fab.  

Edward brings over 12 years of garden machinery industry experience to his new role, in which he will be responsible for supporting dealers in all areas of their business including sales, business development and technical assistance.  Before joining Barrus, Edward previously worked for his family’s business, Brumwell Garden Machinery in South West Wales.  

Whilst working at Brumwell’s Edward turned his hand to every aspect of the day-to-day running of the company from sales, parts, product demonstrations and working in the workshop.  

“I have learnt a lot over the past 12 years and appreciate the wide variety of opportunities I have been given.  However, I wanted to put everything I had learned at Brumwell into practice in a larger organisation, so when I saw this role I knew it was the one for me!” comments Edward.   

“I have been a customer of Barrus for a number of years and been impressed with its service and attitude towards its customers.  I’m looking forward to being able to provide this high level of service to the dealers in my area and help them develop their own successful businesses,” adds Edward.

“The broad experience that Edward gained working for his family’s business has provided him with an inside knowledge of how dealerships work, as well as an understanding of their needs and the problems they may face.  This is one of the main reasons we brought Edward on board.  He can relate to our dealers and consequently provide them with the assistance they really need,” explains Martin Wasley, Sales & Technical Manager, at E.P.
