Cub Cadet delivers a step up in strength and agility

The newly launched XT2 lawn tractors from Cub Cadet, part of the XT Enduro Series™, deliver strength, power and extreme agility and set a new benchmark when it comes to innovation, performance and robust quality.

The XT2 line up of ride-on mowers have been designed for ambitious garden lovers and developed to tackle challenging terrain and conditions that demand more power, with greater agility, precision and control. They are a real step up in performance, comfort and manoeuvrability.

The five models within the XT2 line up are the most agile in the XT Enduro Series™ and feature the class leading Cub Cadet TIGHT TURN xTREME, an innovative technology that delivers the tightest turning circle on the market of just 17cm, providing unsurpassed manoeuvrability and capability in tight places. This makes an XT2 lawn tractor ideal for working on tough terrain and around busy gardens with obstacles and layout challenges. The powerful and reliable V-Twin Kawasaki engines on all models feature a push button start and the hydrostatic drive system, (operated by foot pedal control) provides a smooth and comfortable ride, whilst the RevTek™ system enables mowing in reverse.

The market leading cut, collect and mulch system, along with the extremely strong drive system with drive harmonisation, provides smooth, efficient power delivery and cutting performance, whilst the solid and corrosion resistant e-coated frame provides long lasting protection and class leading stability.

To continue Cub Cadet’s drive for technological innovation, these machines even have a Bluetooth® APP, called Cub Connect. This unique lawn tractor APP helps owners to keep track of inspections and servicing, download user manuals and as an easy way to find a local Cub Cadet authorised dealer.  

Within the range are two rear collection models, the XT2 PR95 (95cm / 38” cutting width) and the XT2 QR106 (106cm / 42” cutting width), both of which benefit from the Direct Collect® system which transports clippings into the large 320 litre collection bag in the shortest, most efficient route. An integrated bag full system identifies when the grass bag is full and initiates the blade shut off system. A distinctive feature is that the level at which the system shuts off can be tailored to individual user requirements by adjusting the fill capacity to meet their own needs. The built in telescopic lever means that emptying the grass bag once full can be done without even getting out of the seat.   

There are three side discharge models to complete the collection. Two of these, the XT2 PS107 (107cm / 42” cutting width) and the XT2 PS117 (117 cm / 46” cutting width) are perfect for larger lawns and small paddocks with powerful 603cm³ Kawasaki engines and the ability to cut up to 2,000 m² per hour. The XT2 QS117 (117 cm / 46” cutting width) steps this power up a gear, benefitting from a 726cm³ Kawasaki V-Twin engine and features a fabricated cutting deck able to cut up to 3,000 m2 per hour.

All XT2 lawn tractors feature a cutting height range of 25mm - 100mm, with 12 deck height positions and are equipped with an integrated hosepipe wash nozzle to help make cleaning the underside of the cutting deck quick and easy. An optional anti-dust system is available for the rear collection XT2 PR95 and XT2 QR106 models, helping to protect against swirling grass and dirt in dry conditions. Mulching kits and grass collection bags are also available for the side discharge XT2 PS107, XT2 PS117 and XT2 QS117 models and various other accessories to further enhance their use and capabilities can be attached to the tow hitch.
