The New Cub Cadet LR Mini-Rider Range – Modern, Compact and Agile

The new LR Mini-Rider range from Cub Cadet delivers the same strength, durability and cutting performance as our larger rider models, just in a more compact design. These LR models are part of the new ‘entry level’ Force Series, consisting of products for gardeners who are looking for power, performance, durability and who appreciate powerful machinery at an affordable price point.

Within the LR Mini-Rider line up are four models; two side discharge models, the LR1 NS76 and LR2 NS76, and two rear collection models, the LR1 NR76 and LR2 NR76. The rear collection models come with a generous 200 litre grass bag, the largest Mini-Rider collection bag available, which can even be emptied from the comfort of the driver's seat, saving time and effort.

The rear collection Mini-Riders are 3-in-1 machines, with the capability to collect, discharge or mulch the grass cuttings, whilst the side discharge models can be converted into 3-in-1 machines with 115 litre grass bag and high lift blades available separately.

All models in the LR range have 76cm / 30” cutting widths and a cutting height range of 38-95mm though five adjustable deck positions, making it suitable for a variety of lawn cutting requirements. With a convenient turning radius of 46cm / 18”, and large, grass-gentle tyres, these machines will navigate even the trickiest of terrain, without causing any lawn damage. Thanks to the compact design, these Mini-Riders are able to get through typical garden gates with ease and with the easy entry step-through frame design, are as easy to use as they are manoeuvrable. 

The two LR1 models feature six-speed shift on the go transmatic transmission, whilst the LR2 models benefit from superior, luxurious hydrostatic transmission, Intelligent Parking Assistance (IPA), and RevTek functionality, enabling mowing in reverse. In addition, the LR2 models have LED headlights and provide maximum rider comfort with a high backrest seat with cut-away, which allows for better air circulation, and an adjustable steering column for the perfect fit. 

Both LR1s and LR2s are powered by robust 420cm3 Cub Cadet OHV engines, with 4.9 litre fuel tanks and feature a handy fuel level indicator. These large fuel tanks make mowing the lawn in one operation without refuelling a real time saver.
